The Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNG), a leading advocate for sustainable energy solutions, has launched the CNG Solutions Hackathon 2024. The launch, which held yesterday at the Art Tech District in Abuja, promised to accelerate the widespread adoption of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in Nigeria.
According to the organisers, the top-performing ideas will progress to an incubation phase, where participants will receive ongoing support and mentorship to develop and scale their projects into viable solutions for the CNG landscape.
Commenting on the Hackathon, the CEO at PCNG, Mr. Bankole Oloruntoba, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “The CNG Solutions Hackathon is a testament to our commitment to driving innovation and sustainability in the energy sector. By fostering collaboration and providing a platform for creative solutions, we aim to contribute significantly to the growth of CNG adoption in Nigeria.”
