Choplife Gaming, a prominent franchisee company, has announced its sponsorship of the upcoming Trace Awards in Kigali, specifically focusing on the Best Producer category. This move highlights the significant role played by producers in shaping the music industry.
The inaugural Trace Awards in Kigali will feature Afro-centric music across various genres, including Afrobeat, Dancehall, Hip Hop, Afro-pop, Mbalax, Amapiano, Zouk, Kizomba, Genge, Coupé Décalé, Bongo Flava, Soukous, Gospel, Rap, Rai, Kompa, R&B, and Rumba. This event aims to celebrate African music achievements and the vibrant cultural scene of Kigali.

Choplife Gaming’s partnership with the Trace Awards underscores its investment in African entertainment, including music, art, and sports. Their commitment is evident through previous investments in Rayon Sports and the establishment of a boxing gym in Accra. The company disclosed that it has more initiatives planned for the upcoming year.
The Trace Awards will be broadcast live on October 21, 2023, on Trace TV channels and other authorised platforms.
