THEWILL DOWNTOWN Names Eki Ogunbor Lifestyle Editor-at-Large

The award-winning fashion and beauty writer, Eki Ogunbor has been named the new Lifestyle Editor-at-Large of THEWILL DOWNTOWN, the magazine announced today. Ogunbor who is also an alumna of Condé Nast College will oversee the magazine’s coverage of events (social and corporate), bringing her creativity and expertise to bear on the creation and delivery of high-quality content.

In a statement by the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of THEWILL Newspaper and THEWILL DOWNTOWN, Austyn Ogannah, Ogunbor will join the newly appointed Online Editor of the magazine, Ntianu Obiora to support the Executive Editor, Onah Nwachukwu, “and the entire team to bring freshness to our style of culture, fashion and lifestyle journalism for the enjoyment of our readers.”

Ogunbor, a content creator, has collaborated with renowned brands like MAC Cosmetics, Lancôme, YSL Beauty, and more. In 2017, she launched BellaNaija Style, becoming its Founding Editor and earning the Fashion Writer of the Year award at the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards in 2018. That same year, she founded KISARA, an African fashion brand, and later initiated FashionVerse Africa, a media platform for African fashion creatives.
