Minjibir Re-elected President of Medical Workers’ Union

The Medical and Health Workers of Nigeria (MHWUN), one of the biggest affiliates of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), has re-elected Kabiru Ado  Minjibir as its national president.

A statement signed by Head of Information and Public Affairs, Benson Upah, said Minjibir was among the nine members of the National Executive  of  MHWUN  elected at the 11th quadrennial national delegates conference of the union held between March 4 to 9 in Abuja.

Other members of the union that  were elected into various positions include; Goodluck Ofobruku (Deputy National President), Chinwe Orizu (National Treasurer), and Dennis Nyam (National Publicity Secretary).

Upah listed other newly elected executives of the union to include; six National Vice Presidents: Sunday Adetula, (South-West), Satomi Hikama, (North East), Husseini Hamisu Yanduna, (North West); Saheed Muritala Olayinka, (North Central), Ogbonnaya Okoro, (South-East), Barnabas Simon (South-South). Olufemi Adebisi (National Trustee) as well as two National Auditors – Olusegun Siwoke and Yusuf Inuwa.
