Abuja Investments Company Limited, AICL, has said the fire incident that was recorded at the popular Wuse Market on Thursday night has been brought under control and that there is no cause for alarm
A statement by the Head of Communication, Fatima Nadada, late Thursday night said the prompt intervention of different stakeholders led to the putting out of the fire quickly.
“AICL wishes to inform the general public that there was a fire incident at Wuse Market at about 7.30pm on the 25th of April, 2024. However, thanks to the swift response and expert handling of the situation by the Fire Service, the Commissioner of Police and the AICL GMD, the fire was quickly brought under control.
“The incident which started in one of the restaurants has since been brought under control
“The public is encouraged to remain calm and continue activities and business, ” the statement read.
