Older Persons: Centre enters partnership to confront challenges 

The National Senior Citizens Center (NSCC) and Policy House have signed a historic partnership agreement aimed at addressing the challenges faced by older people in Nigeria. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the country’s efforts to prioritize the welfare and well-being of the aged.

Under the agreement, Policy House, a renowned organization with over 15 years of experience, will provide technical expertise and resources to support the NSCC in achieving its mission. The partnership will leverage existing partnerships and networks while exploring new avenues to ensure the successful implementation of the agreed deliverables and targets.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to partner with NSCC, Taiwo Akerele, Executive Director of Policy House, stated that this engagement is particularly emotional due to the profound impact it will have on the lives of older people. He commended the leadership of NSCC, led by the highly accomplished Social Protection expert, Emem Omokaro PhD, for their visionary approach to addressing the needs of the aged population.
