Tiza Imojime, 33-year-old Emerges Benue State Commissioner

The nomination, confirmation, and subsequent assigning of 33-year-old Tiza Isaac Imojime as Benue State Commissioner for Works, Housing and Urban Development, is indeed a milestone not only in the annals of the appointee but also in the state.

Imojime has distinguished himself in so many ways that the Governor, Rev Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia found him worthy for the position.

He served as General Manager at the Riella Group of companies which include Riella Properties, Riella Direct (Logistics), and Riella Agro-Tech. Before that, he worked at Upcountry Homes and Investments Limited as a relocation manager where he also became Managing Director.

Imojime served as the President of Inspirational Youth Vanguard and the Patron of the Okada Riders Association, Makurdi Branch, he actively champions the cause of youth empowerment and inclusivity.

He bagged a diploma in Cyber Security from Regenesis Business School, after graduating with a degree in “Business Management ” at Benue State University, Makurdi.

For Imojime, education is not just a means to an end but a lifelong commitment to growth and self-improvement.

He was recently hooured as the winner of the 2024 Under 40 CEOs “Outstanding Youth Political Influencer of the Year ” Award

While delivering his speech, he said, “I felt humbled and elated to have been recognised to this very level and I see this as a call to do more in terms of service delivery to the good people of Benue State”.

“He went further to encourage the youths specifically in Benue State, to always identify needs in their immediate environment with the aim of proffering solutions that would set the state on the global map and also service to humanity must be deliberate if one must excel in life”.

Prior to his appointment as the youngest commissioner in Benue State, he was an aspirant for the House of Representatives in Buruku Constituency, Imojime exemplifies the spirit of inclusivity and cooperation.

A bridge builder by nature, he fosters connections across party lines, tribes, religions, and races, recognising the strength that lies in unity and diversity.

Beyond the corridors of power, Tiza Imojime’s heart beats with a passion for nurturing the next generation. He believes fervently in the power of youth, seeing in them the potential to shape a brighter future.

This passion extends beyond mere rhetoric; it permeates his involvement in music, sports, and entertainment, where he actively engages with young talents, nurturing their growth and development.
