John Fash, Rachel Bag Endorsement Deals with Numatville Megacity

Former English international of Nigerian descent, John Fashanu and multiple award-winning Media Personality, Rachel Bakam are the latest celebrities to be endorsed by Numatville Megacity as its ambassadors. The announcement was made on Sunday March 20, when the duo visited the site.
The Nigerian Unity Museum & Trade Tourism Village (Numatville) is a special site an hour drive from Abuja with the vision to showcase Nigeria’s cultural heritage and to become Africa’s first and largest national tourism and cultural megacity. The initiative is supported by the Federal Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Abuja.
John Fashanu’s endorsement by Nigerian Unity Museum & Trade Tourism Village (Numatville), Abuja as a Numatville Sports Ambassador comes with the intention to establish a world-class Sports Academy to empower the youths.
His endorsement comes as no surprise because of his many achievements in the sports of football and contribution to sports in general. As a striker he scored over 300 goals in a career-lasting 17 years (1978 to 1995) where he played for several English clubs including Norwich City, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.
He is mostly remembered during his eight-year spell at Wimbledon F.C. where he won the FA Cup in 1988 and scored over 100 goals in all competitions. He was also capped twice at senior level by England. He is also a successful television presenter. In 2009, Fashanu was listed amongst Great Britain’s most influential people along with other prominent persons like Richard Branson and Prince Charles.
The endorsement of Rachel Bakam was also to celebrate her admirable feats in the media sector. Apart from being a television producer & presenter, she is also a Peace and Tourism Ambassador. Her TV programmes include highly rated Trends and the Hausa version Yanayin Zamani da Rachel.
She also has several awards to her name including the African Achievers Award and the Pan African Humanitarian Award. She is also the Founder and President of the Nigerian Water Ski & Wakeboard Federation.
Other celebrities to be endorsed by Numatville Megacity include veteran Nigerian rapper and CEO of Rugged Records, Rugged Man (Michael Stephens) and Kiss Daniel to name a few.
