‘Socialander Helped 365 Businesses Grow within 5 Years in Digital Marketing’
A young SME focused digital marketing company, Socialander Digital Agency, has within the space of 5 years into the industry revolutionized and supported the growth of over 365 Businesses across Africa through digital marketing and excellent brand positioning. This was disclosed recently in Lagos by the founder and CEO, Bella Victor.
The Socialander digital agency which was founded in 2018, has grown from a sole proprietorship business to a full-scale digital marketing company in less than 5 years of operation. Though young, it currently reckons with the leading agencies in Nigeria and among industry pioneers of over 10 years and counting.
Speaking on the company’s growth, Bella Victor said “As a company led by young people from different beginnings and expertise, we understood very early in our lives that one major economic issue across Africa is the inability of African businesses or producers to competitively sell their products or service to the global community, attracting the necessary economic cash flow for continental economic growth. However, knowledge alone does not change anything, so we decided to execute on our findings and help as many businesses as possible to scale with digital marketing.”
He added that, “Although very young, this digital agency has shown a clear vision for why they are in business. It is clear that the future belongs to the youths of today, however, only youths who are ready to make sacrifices such as those the Socialander team have made will achieve such applaudable feats of enabling over 365 businesses to achieve growth in their short 5 years time frame of existence. This is something very few agencies, if any, can brag about.”
Bella Victor further explained that “In our five years of operation as a company, we have observed that the digital technology landscape seems complicated to a vast majority of the business owners we got to interact with. This is mainly because of the numerous angles and potential for business-to-customer integration, as well as the fact that digital technologies are constantly evolving. However, most of these business owners who need our assistance to scale with digital marketing are most times reluctant because they doubt our capabilities due to our youthfulness.”
It is clear that for entrepreneurs and business owners to develop and sell relevant products, they need core competencies to leverage the new age technologies and reap the potential rewards. These rewards range from better customer understanding to solicited purchase decisions using social media and web integrations. As digital marketing continues to advance, more opportunities for businesses in Africa are revealed and only those on the side of technology can reap its fruits.
On it’s commitment to 365 businesses and counting,
Bella Victor noted that “Our study confirmed that innovation and creativity remain fundamental skills. But additional competencies are also needed. These include the ability to cross-link business units through digital connectivity, rapid prototyping, and understanding how data-driven decisions can enable automated and personalised service offerings. Our passion for helping businesses grow caused us to offer pro-bono services to businesses at the beginning of our business journey, just to prove our competence upfront before any payment is made in the future and together with one of our SME Launchpad Projects where we give 20 businesses a free thirty minutes digital strategy session for business launch or growth, we have helped over 365 businesses grow and we are not stopping.”
At this pace and with a clear vision, Socialander Digital Agency has impacted a great number of businesses across Africa. This is the type of impact the world is proud of, especially because all of this is spearheaded by youths averaging only 25 years of age – leaders of the future.
Having helped 365 businesses grow in 5 years of operation as digital agency, and for it’s 10th anniversary, the company leaves observers and key players in the industry wondering what extraordinary milestone do these young entrepreneurs plan to reach by 2028.
