Modu Sheriff : PDP will Recapture Power in 2019

The acting National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, has stated that the party is still strong and will recapture power in 2019.
He said this in Dutse on Monday when he visited the state as part of his familiarization tour to states.
Addressing the party supporters at the state party secretariat, Sheriff said what he saw in Jigawa confirmed to him that the party is still strong in the country.
He assured that the party will be in control at all levels of governance come 2019.
Sheriff said he set up a committee which comprises former and serving PDP governors, former and serving members of the National Assembly, state PDP Chairmen, their secretaries and former Ministers of the party who will go round the country to meet aggrieved former party members to ensure that they return to the party.
