Lawmaker Seeks Improved Security in Constituency

The lawmaker representing Obokun Constituency in Osun State House of Assembly, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has made a case for the deployment of armoured personnel carriers (APC) to his constituency by the police authority to strengthen security.
He made the request sequel to the purported plan by the management of Wema Bank to relocate outside Ibokun due to the armed robbery that took place in the bank on December 15, 2015.
In a letter to the state Commissioner of Police, copies of which were made available to journalists, Oyintiloye said since the incident, the bank has not re-opened for operation while some other business owners were relocating outside the town.
