Buhari Cancels Visit to Ogoniland
There are strong indications that President Muhammadu Buhari may have cancelled his one-day visit to Ogoniland, Rivers state, where he was scheduled to flag off the clean-up of the massively polluted Niger Delta.
It could not be confirmed at press time but information has it that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo would represent the President.
There had been alleged security threats to Buhari from the Niger Delta Avengers that they would kill him if he went to the Niger Delta region.
