Buhari Meets Jonathan

President Muhammadu Buhari met with his immediate predecessor,  Dr.  Goodluck Jonathan, on Thursday behind closed doors  at the Aso Rock Villa.

A source at the State House told our correspondent that Jonathan and Buhari met about 9pm on Thursday‎ at the president’s residence in Aso Rock.

Apart from having knowledge of the meeting, the source did not know what Buhari discussed with Jonathan.

However, speculations were rife that the meeting might not be unconnected with the blowing up of oil facilities in the Niger Delta by the Niger Delta Avengers.
