World ‘N’ Traveland Launches New Online Brand
Earlier this month, World ‘N’ Traveland, one of Nigeria’s indigenous travel agencies known for providing clients with safe, easy and convenient facilities to book their travel and cater for all requirements launched WONTRA, a new online brand under its umbrella. The new website will allows people to do more than just buying tickets and holidays; it embraces tourism fully.
The web has already transformed the ways many of us choose our holidays: rather than going to travel agents, we use their online sites, or dispense with travel agents altogether by putting together our own tailor-made holidays with cheap online flights and hotel bookings. But many successful travel agencies that realise that technology will always evolve are already putting structures in place to evolve with the trend, one of which is Travel ‘N’ Wonderland.
According to Funmi Faloye, MD/CEO of World N Traveland, “The company will be investing in tourism and then push all its travel service products to the new WONTRA brand, adding more services including car rental, live cruise booking engine and low cost airline live bookings’.
She added that the website has more than the regular from its design that is interactive and the easy with which a visitor can navigate the entire site for holistic travel experience.
Faloye says the keywords are user friendly solutions, all of which have one thing in common: investment in exceeding customers’ expectations as customers can book short flights as it goes beyond the international flights. “In fact, you can discover the best hotels at the best price,” she said. Already, the site has come alive with customers visiting for information on destinations all over the world, hotels, vacation packages, flights and visa information.
Speaking on empowering people to travel, Faloye disclosed that the World N Traveland brand has 365 travel plan, that allow travel customers save and build funds towards their holiday.
She explained that the 365 is a savings travel plan fashioned after the traditional ‘Ajo’ or ‘Esusu’, which enables subscribers to save as little as N365 on a daily basis for 365 days towards a future travel event, be it a business trip or holiday.
“The essence of this product is to make travel achievable and accessible to everyone through savings and proper planning.”
Faloye added that subscribers have the option of saving the amounts daily, weekly or monthly, which allows for flexibility and convenience. “At the end of the savings period of choice, the funds can be applied towards any of WNT’s travel products like ticket bookings, hotel reservations, airport transfers, visas and any of our other travel products and services or carried over to subsequent years until the client is ready to use the funds.”
Faloye said this is the best time to attract tourists to the country because the foreign exchange is affecting how people travel due to high cost of tickets.
She said to attract tourists to the country, “various resorts need to be authentic as trying to be modelled after foreign resorts will not achieve the needed results.”
