Who Wants Aliko Dangote Dead?

This is no fable from the heart of a crazy fiction writer. It is as real as daylight. But what is most surprising is why anyone would want  Nigeria’s leading industrialist and Africa’s richest man,  Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chairman, Aliko Group of Companies, dead.  This is the question troubling the minds of Nigerians and his loved ones.

Immediately  the rumour of his death was reported by a German- based website last  week, many expectedly were devastated. But, the motive of the story was not actually known to them.  

Spyglass gathered that the fake news was carried hours  after he left  the 50th  birthday of  Access Bank former Managing Director, Aig Imokhuede, last Saturday, in Surrey, United Kingdom.

It was learnt that the Kano State- born billionaire was taken to the airport by his confidant and associate,  Femi Otedola, for a trip to South Africa. Hence,  many, out  of concern,  turned to the Forte Oil boss for confirmation.

However, Otedola’s silence sparked off some spontaneous reactions that pulled the plug on the talks of death,  before  Dangote’s media team swung into action,  describing  the news as ‘’a hoax’’.
