Glo’s Professor Johnbull Features Legendary Zebrudaya as Season Two Begins
The excitement continues for television viewers this week as the second season of the Glo- sponsored social satire, Professor Johnbull, begins today with yet another hilarious and thought-provoking episode titled Work Men.
The sitcom which made waves nationwide after it hit the TV screens in July, ended the first season of 13 interesting and moral-teaching episodes and has packaged more exciting episodes in this second season for the viewing pleasure of TV viewers across the world.
In this episode, the legendary Chika Okpala known for his comic role “Chief Zebrudaya Nwokoroigbo Nwogbo alias 4:30” in the defunct T.V drama series of the 1990s, New Masquerade, makes a guest appearance.
The sponsor of the sitcom, Globacom, said in a statement monday that the second season of the TV drama series was repackaged and made even better for the viewing delight of the people. Globacom in the statement urged viewers to tune in to NTA Network, NTA International on DSTV Channel 251 and NTA on StarTimes on Tuesday at 8:30p.m. to watch the sitcom.
Viewers will watch the antics of cunning artisans who wittingly and deliberately extort their clients by further cannibalising the client’s already damaged appliances.
What happens when a fake mechanic further destroys Zebrudaya’s vehicle? How will the erudite professor react to the inept plumber who destroys his kitchen pipes while fixing it? How does Olaniyi treat the guest who comes to eat at his restaurant and refuses to pay? Find out all these intrigues in this first entertaining episode of season II as the erudite Professor spits fire.
Work Men will feature the usual cast such as Kanayo O. Kanayo, Mercy Johnson-Okogie, Queen Nwokoye, Yomi Fash- Lanso, Bimbo Akintola, Bidemi Kosoko, Imeh Bishop and Funky Mallam.
A repeat broadcast will be telecast on Friday at the same time on the same NTA channels. Viewers will also watch the erudite Professor continue his philosophical, didactic messages and grandiloquence.
