The Senator representing Anambra South senatorial district, Dr. Andy Uba, yesterday said the All Progressives Congress (APC) will develop Anambra State if it wins this year’s governorship election
Uba spoke at the party’s state secretariat when he received its constitution and other insignias.

Receiving the items from the APC state Chairman, Mr. Emeka Ibe, Uba who is an APC governorship aspirant in the November 18 governorship poll in the state, enjoined the people of the state to vote for the party in the election.
He said APC would develop the state if voted to power, irrespective of who would be chosen as the standard bearer of the party in the election.

“The governorship race in the party is not a do-or-die affair. Whoever that emerges as the party’s standard bearer will not disappoint the people of the state,” Uba stated.

He commended the unity exhibited by members of the party in the state, adding that he would give the party a befitting secretariat in the state.

The lawmaker added: “What I have seen now in this party shows that there is unity among the state executive and members of the party in the state.

“One thing I want to assure members of the party is that whoever God says will emerge as the candidate of APC will never disappoint the party during and after the governorship election in November.”
