Firm Preaches Healthy Lifestyle on Mother’s Day
Nigeria’s heart friendly vegetable oil brand, Power Oil, has charged mothers to always imbibe healthy lifestyle beginning with the food they consume just as its feted them in an elaborate party on the occasion of 2017 Mothers’ day.
The celebration which held simultaneously across four locations in Nigeria brought together mothers from all tribes who were given executive treatment to appreciate their roles in family, society and the country at large, while children who participated in the Power Oil #Mommy Dearest Campaign were also honoured at the occasion.
Speaking on the event, Brand Manager of the firm, Amisha Chawla, explained that the #MommyDearest Campaign was specifically designed to give mothers an outstanding treat, an opportunity to relax and catch fun alongside their children who must have taken part in the contest of sharing the most remarkable experience and lessons derived from their mum.
The contest was open to everyone on both online and offline platform.
“Mothers’ Day was equally celebrated last year with the brand ambassadors who paid special visits and presented gifts to mothers at home on behalf of their children who had nominated them on the brand’s platform.
“For this year, we have decided to give our mothers another unique treat by hosting them in a grand style at four different locations, same time and same day which we believe they appreciate and enjoyed to satisfaction”, Amisha Stated.
The Public Relations Manager of the brand, Omotayo Azeez expressed fulfillment at the occasion seeing that the mothers were elated.
“It gives us so much joy to see that they all had fun, as they danced, sang, ate and laughed in unity. We acknowledge mothers’ multifaceted roles from taking care of the kids, home, career, business and most especially keeping the home healthy, these activities give them little or no time to look after themselves. We believe strongly that mothers deserve to be celebrated, which is the rationale behind the #MommyDearest party”, Azeez said.
One of the mothers and a winner in the dance competition that took place at the event, Mrs. Veronica Onogura commended the initiative which she said reminded her of her days as a youth.
She said, “It was surprising realising that I can still perform excellently enough on the dance floor to the extent of winning a gift , I enjoyed every bit of the party and caught so much fun, Power oil is really doing a good job by touching lives in so many ways”.
