Group Urges Women to be Proactive

A group, JoinValue initiative has urged women at all level across the world to be responsible in whatever situation they find themselves in order to promote the society in a meaningful and impactful ways that will lay good foundation as they have major and important roles God has accorded to them.
The call was made at a programme held by the initiative with the experience of the founder, Chichi Ogbonnaya in the premises of University of Lagos, faculty of Environmental Sciences Auditorium titled ‘The Total Woman’ with the theme ‘What’s your Excuse?’ recently in Lagos.
Speaking at the event, the publisher, Today’s Women, Mrs. Adesuwa Oyenokwe said women have no excuse from being total women by knowing who they are and what they want to do on earth, stressing that whatever one maybe going through does not stop one from being what he or she is determined to be in life.
She explained that total woman is a woman who continue working in progress of infinity, transformation of oneself in good willing that will give something better back to the society and determine to continue keep changing in the process as it is the backbone of progress.
She stressed that women need to learn to reinvest, discover their potential, create awareness, read books and related issues, develop great habits which enable their development.
Oyenokwe noted that women should also think of the skills or trade they can acquired with best of knowledge and wisdom to help the household and the society in order not to be a liability or rendered useless out there where she may indulge in unlawful acts turning her into miserable being.
In addition, the CEO, Sixth Sense Interiors, Mrs. Temitope Olagbegi, advised women to be courageous, determined, skillful among others relative irrespective of their background to make a unique story of life in the society.
