House Passes Motion to Revisit Devolution of Powers Bill Â

Resuming from its two-month recess, the House of Representatives Tuesday passed a resolution to immediately revisit the issue of devolution of powers in the interest of the unity of the country.
It also resolved to set up a strong committee to liaise with all stakeholders across the six geopolitical zones for practical solutions to the country’s  unity.

House Majority Leader, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila (APC, Â Lagos), moved the motion under the motion of urgent national importance. Â
