NAFOWA Trains 800 Women, Youths 

Nigeria Air Force Officers Wife’s Association (NAFOWA) has trained over 800 women and youths in different skill acquisition and vocational programs across the country.in the last two years. This was disclosed by the wife of the Chief of Air Staff, Hajia Hafsat Sadique  Abubakar while inaugurating the skill acquisition and vocational training  for 150 women, widows and youth at Air Force base in Bauchi on Friday. Hajia Abubakar who is also the National President of NAFOWA said since May 2015 over 800 women and youth had benefited from the training in Benue, Kaduna, Brono, Lagos, Port Harcourt  and Bauchi State. She added  that the skill acquisition training would be conducted in other  states to empower women and youth to be self-reliance. According to her, the beneficiaries were trained in different skills which include, fashion designing, make up, shoe making, computer, bead making, aluminum  door fabrication, soap production among others.
