Karo Lauds Okowa over Successful PDP Convention

The Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Marine Development and United Nations Ambassador on Sustainable Development Goals, Karo Ekewenu, has lauded Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State for last weekend’s peaceful convention that produced Prince Uche Secondus as the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Ekewenu, while reacting to the declaration of Secondus as the national chairman, applauded the chairman of the convention planning committee, Okowa for organising a successful convention.
He said Okowa has proven to Nigerians the reason he is called SMART Governor, noting that his name will forever be in the history of PDP.

He congratulated the newly elected national chairman of the party on his well deserved victory, noting that over the years, Secondus has been a tested and a trusted leader with unquestionable character.

According to Ekewenu, his choice as the national chairman of the PDP would no doubt bring more unity and reposition the party towards winning elections at the federal level.

Ekewenu urged party members to join hands with the national chairman, Secondus in taking power from the All Progressives Congress (APC) come 2019.
