Bauchi Gov Accepts Deputy’s Resignation, Thanks Him for Offering Meritorious Service
By Segun Awofadeji
Bauchi State Governor Abdullahi Abubakar Wednesday accepted the resignation of his deputy Nuhu Gidado and wished him well in his future endeavours.
Abubakar described Gidado’s tenure and service to the state  as meritorious and worthy of commendation.
He expressed optimism that Gidado would make his vast wealth of experience available to the state anytime he’s called upon in the future.
“We  received the resignation of our Deputy Governor, Engr. Nuhu Gidado. On behalf of the people of Bauchi state, I want to thank him for his meritorious service while in office.”
Gidado tendered his resignation on Wednesday citing “dampened spirit and waning zeal†as it relates to his official engagements.
While thanking the governor and the people of the state for the privilege to serve, Gidado said he would have remained to the end of his tenure but his continued stay will not be fair and truthful to the governor.
