Security Chiefs Meet Buhari, Demand More Equipment

President Muhammadu Buhari Thursday in the State House, Abuja, met with security chiefs who demanded for more equipment to combat bandits.

A statement handed to journalists at the end of the meeting by the Minister of Defence, Nansur Dan-Ali, said Ali told Buhari that provision of more equipment had become important if the tempo of the fight against insecurity will be sustained.

“Finally, Honourable Minister requested for provision of more equipment for the Armed Forces in order to sustain the tempo in the fight against insurgency and other security challenges across the country,” the statement said
