Man Kills His Father Inside Mosque

A middle-aged man, Umaru Muhammadu Jauro Ori has been arraigned by the Bauchi State Ministry of Justice in the State High Court No. 5 presided over by Justice Aliyu Baba Usman for killing his biological father inside a Mosque in Maltawa Village of Misau Local Government Area (LGA) in the State.
Arraigning the suspect yesterday the Chief State Counsel, Hussein Ishaq Magaji told the court that the accused went to a Mosque in Maltawa Village and stabbed his father with a cutlass on his head and at back, causing him serious injuries.
According to Magaji, the injured man was rushed to the Misau General Hospital where he died on the following day as a result of the injuries he sustained in attack.
He said the offence violated section 221 of the Penal code laws.
The suspect in his statement recorded by the police, said he killed his father because his father separated him and his wife when he travelled out.
According to him, the deceased also separated him with his two brothers
Umaru said when he returned, he entered mosque and stabbed his father on his head and back.
