Imo Governorship Hopeful Appoints Campaign Director

The United Progressive Party (UPP) governorship candidate for Imo State, Hon. Tony Chinedum Nwulu has appointed Mr. Kelechi Kingsley Chukwu-Nwaokorie as the Director General of his Mezie Imo Movement Campaign Organization. He is 33 years.
Chukwu-Nwaokorie follows the pace set by the likes of Ohimai Amaize who at 26 years became the youngest presidential campaign manager in modern democratic history when popular journalist Dele Momodu appointed him to head his campaign ahead of the 2011 polls.
The new Director-General of Mezie Imo Movement hails from Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State. He is a graduate of Statistics from Imo State University and was appointed by Nwulu because of his sterling qualities as well as his believe that the youths can move things to the next level in the state and beyond.
Nwulu expressed confidence that the ‘selfless’ Kelechi Chukwu will lead the campaign to the promise land. He said, Kelechi is a young man who is dedicated and passionate about his job as the state coordinator of Mezie Imo Movement. I have never seen a young man so selfless, committed and very articulate in pursuit of set goals.”
“He has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is capable to carry out any assignment bestowed on him. He has the zeal and charisma to deliver. He is eager for Imo development and transformation. I have absolute confidence that he will do well if given a bigger task. Therefore Iappoint him as Director General of my 2019 Imo governorship election,” Nwulu said.
He also unveiled his vision is to establish a transparent government where human capital development will be promoted to ensure massive infrastructural revolution in the state.
He said, “My vision is to establish a transparent, accountable, responsive, committed government and build a sustainable state that will promote human capital development, ensure the provision of infrastructure, secure lives and properties and improve access to investment opportunities and lifesaving services now and for future generations of our people. I call on our people, the good people of Imo State to join our campaign for greater Imo State under the United Progressive Party, UPP.”
