Deputy Speaker Lasun Arrives at the National Assembly

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yussuff Lasun, arrived at the National Assembly at 12pm.

His convoy was not stopped by the operatives of the Department of State Services at the entrance.

It also emerged that about 60 senators and 120 members of the House of Representatives, mostly PDP members,  are currently waiting at the White House lobby to prevent any illegal sitting by the pro-Buhari lawmakers who are allegedly planning to impeach the President of the Senate as well as the House Speaker.

Addressing journalists, a PDP House member, Hon. Tajudeen Yusuf, said the unfolding development gives credence to the rumour that there is a plot to effect leadership change in the parliament.
