Pilgrims Board Commend Medview
Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Board has commended Medview Airline for its consistency in the airlift of Muslim pilgrims to the Holy Land on annual basis. The overseer of the Board, Imam Hussain Suleiman made the commendation in Kaduna recently when the airline commenced the airlift of pilgrims from Kaduna State, thus putting paid speculations that Medview Airline has no capacity for the operation.
A statement from the domestic carrier said MedView Airline lived to its billing when it airlifted 322 pilgrims including 10 officials to Medina recently.
Suleiman, said the airlift of pilgrims has been going smoothly, remarking that Medview is expected to airlift about 1,600 pilgrims.
The airline Chief Pilot, Captain Steven Fevrier said the rationale for the acquisition of B777-200ER is to continue to improve on its services to the flying public and by extension to the pilgrims.
Fevrier said, “We are happy to be here again. We are not new in Kaduna. We were here last year with a B767-300ER. This year we are here with B777-200ER, which is an addition to the Medview fleet.”
The airline is expected is to airlift all the pilgrims allocated to it by NAHCON as well as international passengers by next week.
