So it goes and on and on. But who is Maheeda? The Edo State indigene Caroline Sam, born on 22 November 1982 in northern Nigerian, is a singer, nude model and former prostitute. According to her, she began her musical career as a hip-hop singer but became a gospel singer after becoming “born again”. In 2014, She released her debut gospel track, ‘Concrete Love’, which she noted was inspired by the love of God towards her.
Maheeda’s mother died when she was at a tender age and she never knew her dad. According to her, the inability to meet her financial obligations and fend for herself led her to prostitution and housekeeping afterward. She had a daughter at age 14. Maheeda met a man while working in a bar in Nigeria, who upon listening to her story decided to help her and her teenage daughter. She got married to the man and relocated to the Netherlands but visits Nigeria frequently. She presently lives with her husband and daughter in the Netherlands. Maheeda considers sex as having an uncontrollable supernatural effect on people since despite being married and living comfortably she still had the urge to sleep with men.
She described her relationship with God as the only thing that stopped her zeal for sex from men, explaining that “being born again and delivered” was the only thing that stopped the need for sex. She once explained that her love for unclad pictures isn’t aimed at promoting sexual immorality, rather it’s because she “feels sexy”. She went further to say Nigerians were being hypocritical in their reservations concerning her dress sense and nudity.
Maheeda described her spiritual life as still being in connection to God irrespective of her outward appearance and digital identity. She describes Hellfire as a fiction of the imagination of Africans and believes the government will be impacting the masses positively, if they legalise prostitution, especially since more developed countries are doing it.
This weird girl began singing while in primary school. At age 23, she chose music as a profession despite facing challenges with funding while promoting her musical career. According to her, the name Maheeda means blessing and treasure, hence her decision to choose it as a stage name. She classifies her music as “cocktail” because just like wine, it is intended to encompass all aspect of human life. She claims to get her musical inspiration from God because God saw her through being a single mother until she got married then ventured into music professionally.
Speaking on the reaction of her family to her nudity, she explained her husband and his family accept, understand and support her in all she does. In 2015, Nigerian Entertainment Today disclosed that she was more widely known than Don Jazzy and Linda Ikeji based on analytics from Google and WordPress. In August 2016, she revealed that she doesn’t really mean many of the things she has said in the past during interviews.
In an interview with Daily Post, she revealed that getting the interest of Nigerians was the aim of her nudity. She also opined that there are monetary rewards for each video she produces.
Maheeda recently on July 28, 2018, in an Instagram post stated her desire to have sex with three or four men at the same time. That she wants to get to a point in her life where she can do things based on her convictions, not based on what people think about her. “I want to get to a place in my life that I do things for me, not for any man. I want to get to a point where I can have sex with two, three, four men at the same time and give them money to go buy Gucci pant, as thank you for coming.
“I mind some women too, I want to be the woman,” she wrote. Maheeda, competes with Afrocandy for the prize of Nigeria’s ‘ baddest girl’.
Today, she wants a quickie with the disappearing and reappearing senator. Tomorrow she wants to engage the chairman and the leader of the ruling party in a sexual bout. She also would want and states the reason why prostitution should be legal in Nigeria.
“Men? My fellow black men as at that time loved half-caste ladies or educated ladies or ladies from a good family, who dash me any of those qualities? I don’t have those qualities. I had no house so I lived in the streets for days until I couldn’t take it anymore. Was raped, used, deceived, and shot with a gun. A prostitute took me into her shelter and I had a place to sleep but hey, I hit the streets with her every night to the club, hoping to see a white man to save me since I have been rejected and abandoned by almost everyone in my life!!!! See how I became a club girl? That was another experience… let’s not (forget) early pregnancy and the experience of being a single mother in a lonely world.
“But thank God I found a white guy that heard my life story and promised to give me hope. He did by the way. Since I had a white guy who was helping me with small, small money to survive, I had nothing else to do as a job so I choose entertainment, why because I wanted to be somebody, all my life I have been feeling like a nobody, so I thought to be famous will make me a somebody! I couldn’t sing to save my life. I remember going to the studio and the producer was like nah mhen !!! Lol but I begged him and tell him my story how bad I want to be a somebody.
“So, he started teaching me to use my voice until we could manage it… well, he said thank God you have learned the art of seduction while in the club, use that he said…. and that was what I have been doing till date… but when I started so many Nigerians tried to push me down not knowing they were killing my last hope… I forgive them all because they never knew.
I still love them they only made me stronger! Well, story too long, so far so good, I don’t only have a roof over my head, I live in a mansion, I can’t only eat I feed others, I used to wear one pant for days now I dash girls colourful pants, I walked barefoot, now I give out shoes. Thank God for life…HBB to me”
This is just the case of Maheeda the acclaimed sex goddess as she once during her birthday shared of her struggles growing up.
