GO Bike Targets Nigerian Market

Go Bike Inc is a bicycle share startup headquartered in Boston, MA with an office in Lagos is all set to enter into the Nigerian market.

Go Bike Incorporated is offering African tailored effective and efficient bike sharing system focused on improving productivity, well-being of riders and drastically reducing transportation cost and carbon footprint during short urban commutes.

In a statement, Go Bike Inc Co- Founder, Olusanya Omojola said, “Our mission is to promote a cycling culture in short urban commutes across Nigeria and in Africa whilst working towards the attainment of carbon-neutral cities in the continent. The attainment of carbon-neutral cities in Africa is achievable and Go Bike is committed to this feat by deploying cutting-edge and easy to use bicycles.

“Our upcoming activities include an organized cycling charity event later this year to reduce infant mortality in Nigeria. We hope to sensitize Lagosians to the many benefits of cycling in improving health, productivity and overall well-being.”

Go Bike Inc was founded by Yale University alums, Ayoyinka Ojutalayo and Olusanya Omojola, who both share the common goal of transforming Africa cities into smart ones while positioning this platform as the leading bike share management company in Africa with the aim of promoting the culture of cycling for productivity and sustainability of our cities’ transportation system.
