Tukur Mourns Annan

Former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the President Emeritus of African Business Roundtable, Chief Bamanga Tukur, has described the late United Nations Secretary General, Kofi Annan, as a father of peace that is irreplaceable.

In a statement he personally signed yesterday, Tukur said the private sector won’t forget his developmental initiatives especially on the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) in which he involved and engaged the sector right from the policy formulation, execution and evaluation.

He prayed for the repose of the soul of the diplomat.
