Kogi Police Task Operational Commanders on Security.

To ensure a hitch-free celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, the Kogi State Commissioner of Police (CP), Ali Janga has directed all Area Commanders, Heads of Department, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), Tactical and Operational Commanders to beef up security in their respective areas of responsibility to avert any criminal incident during the Sallah festival.

This was contained in a statement issued yesterday by the command’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mr. William Aya.

According to the statement, the CP also ordered a massive deployment of police personnel across the 21 local government councils in the state to ensure adequate protection and safety at all praying grounds.

He urged members of the public to cooperate with the police and other security agencies to ensure a hitch-free celebrations.

He assured them of the command’s readiness in collaboration with other sister agencies to guarantee safety and protection of lives and property before, during and after the celebration.
