Nescafé Rewards Consumers

As part of efforts to empower Nigerians and set their dreams into traction, Nestle Nigeria Plc, makers of the Nescafe range of beverages rewarded its loyal consumers in a second week of prize giving for the recently concluded promotion tagged ‘Nescafe Get Started.’
The second batch saw 12 winners drawn from a pool of 36,605 participants who took part in the promo which kicked off on June 17 and ran through the entire month of July.
Of the 12 winners, Adewole Matthew, Mohammed Bala and Olabisi Arogundande, won the grand prize of N1 million each.
Speaking further on the socio-economic impact of the promotion on the lives of Nigerians, especially the youths, Brand Manager Omofasa Orhiunu, was optimistic that the initiative would give the much-needed boost that young Nigerians yearn for.
He said, “We like to see Nescafe as a brand that is your partner in everything that you do; when you have a dream or aspiration. That’s why we stimulate to enhance the simple moments of life.”
Orhiunu, also noted that aside the direct employment opportunities provided by Nestle, the company have plans to continue in the capacity of empowering youths through its various economic based programmes to help them start up their own small-scale businesses.
Expressing gratitude towards the initiative created by the brand to empower people like him towards fast tracking his career prospects, Matthew said he would invest the prize money in attaining a higher medical degree.
Other winners announced in the second week’s unveiling included Eludoyin Oluwakemisola Christian, Michael Blessing, Happiness Okolie, Okonkwo Emmanuel, Usman Ahmed Kaidasi, Christopher Igbelina Ogugua, Tobi Oderinde and Umoh Ndifreke Timothy.
Prizes appropriated for the promotion amounted to N15 million.
The third and final batch of winners would be revealed in subsequent weeks to formally mark the end of the promotion.
