Saraki: I Will Run for President

The Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki, has formally declared his intention to run for President in 2019.
Saraki who made his intention known on Thursday in Abuja while meeting with Not Too Young To Run political groups said he had heeded the call of teeming youth across the nation to run for the number one position in the country.
He said his ambition was borne out of extensive political consultations and specifically the onerous call by young Nigerians to run for President.
Saraki stated that the myriad of problems facing the nation which were yet to be addressed by the present administration made him to accept the clarion call of the youth and other citizens for him to contest for President.
The Senate President listed the problems to include unemployment, insecurity and lack of the drive to grow the nation’s economy and gave an assurance that his Presidency will right all the wrongs of the past.
