Osinbajo to Address Energy Stakeholders at Sustainability Conference in Lagos

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will hold discussions with energy policy makers, investors and industry leaders as they gather in Lagos to discuss the theme, “Energy Dynamics; current issues and policy options”, and explore collaborations for a more resilient energy future.

A statement by the Energy Institute said the inaugural Energy sustainability Conference 2018 would take place on October 11th 2018, in Lagos and that Vice President Osinbajo would deliver the opening remarks. This will be followed by a Keynote address by Mr. Osten Olorunshola, Chairman Energy Institute Nigeria.

The conference, which is now open to participants for registration, will feature prolific experts who are leaders in government and public policy, industry leaders from the private sector policy makers, regulators, energy consultants and analysts, who will discuss and analyse critical issues on creating an energy sustainable future for Nigeria by promoting the exchange of knowledge, best practices, innovative ideas and past experiences between important stakeholders from across the energy spectrum.

The conference will also provide exclusive round-table networking opportunities chaired by leading organisations with innovative projects and initiatives within the energy sector. It is also a forum to identify synergies and forge partnerships in off-grid renewable energy.

Key speakers include: Vice President Osinbajo; Mr. Osten Olorunsola FEI – Chairman, Energy Institute, Nigeria, Prof. Abubakar Sani Sambo – Vice Chairman, World Energy Council, Mr. Ademola Adeyemi-Bero – Managing Director/CEO First E&P, among others.
