Union Bank Raises Hope in New TV Commercial
Union Bank of Nigeria Plc has released a new Television message to lift the hopes of customers in realising their dreams regardless of what the country holds in the present time.
The two – minute film, devoid of product advertisement and marketing notes demonstrated the bank’s priority at improving lives , especially those who have given up hope on the country.
In the commercial, the financial institution highlighted the daily struggles and disappointments of an average Nigerian and firmly reiterates its commitment to support the people in their bid to rise above odds and live more successful, thereby fulfilling lives.
The production paints vivid scenarios of a society flawed with several problems. It then urges all to be optimistic and unite in a passionate purpose to fight against the factors that seek to divide the country. The message was structured such that viewers can easily identify themselves in the plot of the commercial; from the aspiring photographer, to the taxi driver battling societal forces that threaten his fledgling business; the single mother struggling to make ends meet for her young family and the youth corper who stares into a future that is difficult to see.
Shedding more light on the message, the bank said in a statement that: “As Nigeria marks another milestone in its post-independence journey, we chose to demonstrate our faith in the country and her people by releasing an indigenous television production that sought to rekindle flames of hope in the heart of the people.
“The message communicates strong themes of introspection, perseverance, healing and hope of a better future for Nigeria”.
