Cool FM Celebrates 20th Anniversary
When AIM Group introduced Cool FM on October 1, 1998 right in the heart of Lagos, it ignited a notable era in the business of broadcasting and promoting music in a then relatively tyro industry. Over the past two decades, Cool FM has stood out as the forefront in music-radio, driving innovations and solutions to enhance the radio experience for listeners, musicians and stakeholders.
The cutting-edge media equipment’s and evolving solutions from Cool FM team, combined with creative ideas from Pioneers who saw the potential of an entire radio station dedicated to music at the reach of every listener, sparked the buzz that would forever change how, what and when people listened to music in Nigeria.
Today, listeners near and wide can stream any of the 13 local stations situated round the country from anywhere in the world.
