Gospel Sensation Malvi Set to Host “Streams of Worship” Concert
Gospel artist, Malvi Chioma Ikoku popularly known by her stage name Malvi, is set to organise her maiden concert “Streams Of Worship.”
She said the concert is a spiritual experience of miracles, bonding and renewal of relationship with Christ.
“It is going to be a great time in the presence of God. It is dear to my heart, for me, it’s my baby, a refreshing experience. I want to share with lovers of God. This is not my first concert because growing up I had something small, but this is a major concert for me,” she added.
Asides discussing her upcoming concert, she revealed that she had new music in the works.
For her most well received song to date, she said: “The particular song that people like so much and I have gotten feedback from is ‘Smile’, and it is contemporary, it relates to everybody, Christian and Muslims alike.”
For those that don’t know, Malvi, the Port Harcourt born singer started off quite early in the music industry.
According to her: “growing up, I was blessed to have parents that were supportive; my dad was a clergy man so he was there to guide me spiritually, my mother was supportive and I had some people I looked up to like a man we popularly called elder Okolo; he actually made me join the choir then, Church of God Mission Choir.
“My siblings were also supportive, they were also into gospel music. It was challenging growing up as a young girl trying to be part of the music ministry, but I think, I had great support.”
The “Streams of Worship” concert will hold on November 18, 2018 at The Event Centre, Caplisco Park in Wuse, Abuja and will feature popular gospel acts such as Chioma Jesus, Ezabella Melody from UK, Mercy Chinwo, Praiz Bishop, Minister Shawn Michael, Minister Joy Ojo, and Samsung.
