Anthony Joshua Queries Why Wilder Chose to Fight Fury

British heavyweight Anthony Joshua was filmed in jubilant mood on his Instagram story on Saturday.

He was seen singing Neil Diamond’s ‘Sweet Caroline’ while throwing napkins in the air in a restaurant.

During his trip to America, Joshua also questioned Deontay Wilder’s decision to fight Tyson Fury.

‘I’m going for all of the belts. I’m not going to stop at this one now when I’ve come so far,’ Joshua told ESPN.

‘Forget the money, who would I rather fight, Wilder or Fury? I’d rather fight Wilder because it’s an opportunity to fight for the belt.

‘He had the opportunity for April 13, he had already fought Tyson Fury. He had a draw and now he has the opportunity to fight whoever he wants.

‘He chose to fight Tyson Fury. There’s a question you have to ask him – why isn’t this fight with me happening?

‘He chose to fight Fury as an easy touch when he could have fought for legacy and history on April 13 for the undisputed championship of the world.’

Joshua will put his IBO, IBF, WBA and WBO titles on the line against Jarrell Miller at Madison Square Garden on June 1.
