Ex-Gov Nnamani wins Enugu East Senatorial Election

A former Governor of Enugu state and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, for Enugu East senatorial zone has been declared as the winner of last Saturday’s National Assembly election.

Nnamani scored a total of 128,843 votes to defeat his closest rival, Lawrence Ezeh, who garnered 14,225 vote while Uchenna Agbo of APGA came third with 1,586 votes.

While announcing the results, the Senatorial Election returning officer, Professor Michael Okolie, said Senator Nnamani scored the highest numbers of votes cast and is hereby declared winner of the election.
