INEC Set to Declare el-Rufai Winner of Kaduna Election

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna state, has won last Saturday governorship election in 15 of the 23 Local Government Areas of the state.
The PDP won in eight council areas. The results were announced by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kaduna.
Governor Nasir el-Rufai, candidate of the APC is set to be announced winner of the election for a second term in office.
The collation officer, Prof. Mohammed Bello of the Bayero Kano (BUK), is expected to declare el-Rufai winner of the election any moment from now.
