Supplementary Polls: Yola High Court Asks Journalists to Leave Courtroom

Justice Abdulazeez Waziri of the Yola High Court has ordered journalists covering the suit filed by a political party, MRDD, which logo was omitted from ballot papers in the March 9 governorship election that was declared inconclusive, out of his court.

He did not give any reason for his decision to prevent journalists from covering the hearing.

The MRDD suit will determine whether the Saturday governoship supplementary polls will hold or not in Adamawa.
