Bodex Unveils Plans For 2021 Social Media Hangout

After a one-year hiatus, The CEO of Bodex Media, Florence Bodex Hungbo, has announced that Social Media Hangout will be returning this year. The last edition was held in November 2019.

Revealing plans for the year’s edition, the convener disclosed that the Lagos State Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso; City People Group CEO, Seye Kehinde; actor Yemi Solade, and popular social media influencer Mr Macaroni are among the speakers that will tackle the theme: ‘Digital Media: Freedom of Internet Use and the Rights of the Citizens.’

She also hinted that the Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu is expected to grace the event as the Special Guest of Honour.

Speaking on the essence of the event, Bodex described the platform as a unique talk-media shop that’s designed to create consistent awareness on the abuse of social media and equally generate practical solutions through crowdsourcing among stakeholders in our society.

“More of this kind of interaction can bring sanity to our youths and also our society by creating more awareness with a constant reminder of the benefit of using social strengths in nation-building.”

The event is scheduled to hold on Sunday, June 6, at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
