I Was Blessed in 2020, says JaySynth, Producer of Teni’s hit Song

The year 2020 was a devastated year for show business due to Covid-19, but many of those whose in found consolations in different ways. Among them is one of the prominent names in Nigeria’s music production

According to him: “Many regarded 2020 a lost year, but it was a year of blessing for me and my family because my wife and I welcomed a beautiful baby boy, and our business ironically went so well.”

JaySynths also considered the early years of his career a bit tough while trying to carve an niche himself as a sound scientist who can competently create world music. “I had to learn the techniques on how to achieve a good sound. And it worked for me as soon as I got the techniques right,” he reminisced.

Although a seasoned producer, JaySynths said he is not resting on his oars. “Everyday, I try to create something iconic. That improves and sharpens me enough,” he said.
On what motivated him to go into music as a full-time preoccupation, he said: “The love for it, period,” while noting that if he weren’t into music, he would probably have ended up “working in an oil company or a reputable organization.”

Since his switch to music business, he avowed that he has learnt lots of lessons. “But the biggest one of them is being unique and being relevant else, you will be forgotten,” he mused.

Continuing, he said: “I also learnt the important lesson of life that it is always important to be you and never seek for validation when you know your worth.”
