HAIL TO EMIR OF DAURA

Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk is the 60th Emir of Daura Emirate. We need to give honour to whom honour is due. The Emir of Daura has exhibited an exemplary character within his domain and outside, and has shown leadership worthy of emulation. He was born and brought up with humility, he has distinguished his reign by making peace to reign in Daura.

Alh. Faruk Faruk has empowered jobless youths in his domain by providing the basic necessity of life for them; he made life easy for widows in Daura by paying their children’s school fees. He also provides security by giving them vigilance group to complement the effort of security agencies in Daura. Indeed, he supports the vigilance group by providing vehicles to enable them to discharge their duties effectively and efficiently.

The emir is a detribalized Nigerian. He single-handedly sponsored many children to Quranic school because he belongs to the school of thought that says “if you train your child in the way of God he won’t depart from it”. He also sponsored hundreds of children to theological school because he doesn’t discriminate between Christians and Muslims. He has sponsored many youths whose parents cannot afford to pay their school fees.

Emir of Daura believes in peace and stability. He gives useful advice to the President. Alh. Faruk has done a lot in the area of infrastructure in Daura, constructed many roads, built many health care, schools and recreational centers for the youths. His immense contribution to the development of humanity is commendable.
