Angus Sports Academy Restates Commitment to Talent Development

Nigeria-based Talent Hub and Football Academy, Angus Sports International Academy has restated its commitment to talent building and discovery to improve Nigeria’s ranking in global sport.
The firm also informed of its plans to partner with major European clubs to enrich the skills of discovered talents into technically embodied professionals.

Speaking while addressing the press recently, owner of the club, Angus Chinedu Aaron reiterated that the academy existed to groom skillful talents and expose them to indigenous and international legends, thus boosting their confidence .

He explained further the academy had football stars such as former players, skippers, African MVP, goalkeeper, and Super Eagles coach amongst others, on its mentor and tutor list,from where the budding stars can tap rich knowledge.

Speaking further, Aaron who is a FIFA Licensed agent and an intermediary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), said, “The academy has been attracting talents from within and outside the country as football is one of the major passion points of the Nigerian youths. Soccer as you know is a medium that unites all Nigerians. At Angus Sports International Academy, our only tribe and language is talent. If you speak this language no matter where you come from, the Angus Sports Academy staff will always understand you.”

He noted that the talents would also enjoy a rare privilege of being placed under the tutelage of the academy’s team coach and manager, Eze Nwakpa.

He said, “Nwakpa is a former footballer who plied his trade in the Nigerian league, European league, and the Asian league. The coach has managed some Nigerian clubs, and the Under 23, Rio 2016 Olympic, Bronze Medal winning team working under his boss, Coach Samson Siasia. His wealth of experience is being passed on to the teaming talents at the academy.”
