Ogun State Deploys Pay1One Digital Payment Assurance Platform Across Health Facilities.

The Ogun State Government has deployed Pay1One, a digital revenue assurance platform at various health facilities in the state.

Tolu Oluyemi, the CEO of Avancee Pinnacle and co-founder of Pay1One and the representative for ministry of health (MOH) in Ogun state made this known in a joint press release on Monday.

The engagement of the Pay1One platform in the various health facilities of the state is in a bid to deal with corruption and leakages, thereby maximising returns for public health institutions in the state, from Tertiary to Primary health care centres.

According to Tolu, Pay1One, which was first deployed to just one hospital when it launched in 2019, now seems to be well positioned to be deployed in over 200 health facilities comprising Tertiary, Secondary and Primary hospitals to help plug leakages by at least 50 per cent, while also providing multiple digital payment channels to fully digitize and optimize patients payment experience. This scale-up for Pay1One is on the heels of their deployment at two of the most prominent Federal Medical Centers in 2020.

“The Ogun State government engaged our digital revenue assurance system after seeing the success of the system in the two most prominent federal medical Centers in Nigeria, Federal Medical Center Ebuta Meta and Federal Medical Center Abeokuta during the 2020 COVID-19 year”. He said.

“The State took on Pay1One in its various health facilities after hearing of the revenue growth recorded in these federal health facilities”.

Pay1One system will be initially deployed at six (6) state hospitals, sixty (60) primary health care centres and the state tertiary health institution, Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital.

“It was a proper bidding process, where so many banks and institutions came, however, the contract was awarded to us because of Pay1One’s unique value proposition, Tolu said, while the rep for MOH confirmed “The platform seems to be the most fully digital, end-to-end revenue assurance platform in the market today”.
