Anjorin, Shoretire, Eight Other Nigeria-eligible Players in England Squads

The English Football Association has finalised its rosters for upcoming international matches next month, with 10 Nigeria-eligible youngsters invited to the youth teams.

Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun has earned a maiden call-up to the England U21 squad and he is joined on the roster by PSV Eindhoven teenage sensation Nonso Madueke.

England U21s will face Romania on September 3 before a 2023 UEFA Under-21 European Championship qualifier with Kosovo on Tuesday September 7.
Arsenal midfielder Miguel Azeez and Chelsea winger Faustino Anjorin have been called up to the England U20 squad for the upcoming friendly against Romania.

Though Azeez has been involved with the Young Lions in the past, this is the first time he has received a call-up to the U20 team.

Celtic goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi , younger brother of 2021 Super Eagles invitee Joshua, has been called up to the England U19 squad for for upcoming fixtures with Italy and Germany.

England U19 Head coach Ian Foster has selected four other players of Nigerian descent, namely Daniel Oyegoke, Carney Chukwuemeka, Samuel Edozie and Shola Shoretire.
Fulham midfielder Michael Olakigbe has been included in the England U18 squad for a five-day training camp in Wales.
