Hajiya Nana Aisha Gambo’s Vision For Nigeria In Action

Hajiya Nana Aisha Gambo who is the wife of the Chief Of The Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo (Admiralty Medal) whose passion for doing good knows no bound has relentlessly and tirelessly worked towards using her office to do so much profitable and life touching projects across Nigeria. Her Clean Water project is one of her most viable projects that has seen to over 52 boreholes structured across rural communities in over 10 states providing them with good drinking water and curbing the disturbing challenge of not having access to clean water.

The NOWA National President recently visited Gwagwarwa Primary School, Nasarawa LGA Kano on the 2nd of September 2021 where Textbooks were donated and 500 bags of food items worth 20kg each was also distributed to members of the community. Additionally Medical Rhapsody was conducted for members of the community with visual impairment who were tested and medical glasses issued to them. The event concluded with the commissioning of one of the bore holes from the Clean Water Project situated within the School.

In addition to her good works she went along with some of her Executives to visit the Nigerian Correctional Service, Kurmawa, Kano. 500 Bags of food items worth 20kg each and 100 mosquito nets were donated to the benefit of the inmates. Also accompanying this was the fines of 23 repentant inmates with lesser offenses that were paid for which secured their releases.

She also added that NOWA executives and members have been working tirelessly with her to actualize these set targets. So far numerous achievements have been made and what’s also noteworthy is the support from her husband, the Chief Of The Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo (Admiralty Medal) and other Naval Commanders.
