Cape Verde Bounce Back with Victory in Liberia

The Blue Sharks of Cape Verde have bounced back to top reckoning in the Super Eagles 2022 World Cup qualifying group after they won 2-1 in Liberia today.

Both Cape Verde and Central African Republic both now have four points from three matches, two points behind leaders Super Eagles with Liberia on three points.

Yesterday in Monrovia, the home team took the lead in first half added time through Van-Dave Harmon.

Cape Verde restored parity on 52 minutes through Jamiro Monterio, before Gary Rodriquez snatched the winner in stoppage time.
